I will be recommending these guys to everyone I know! This was our first time hiring movers and Near North movers made it a breeze. They were able to schedule us in short notice, they were friendly, and asked questions throughout  to make sure they were putting items in the right spots. This crew was AMAZING from start to finish. They had reasonable pricing, fast communication and were reliable. On the day of, they were delayed by the job before us, so they called in two other staff at no additional charge to speed up the move to get us out of our house on time. The staff were amazing - they were kind, in a good mood, careful with my items, obviously very experienced. They were methodical, and so quick! I can't believe how quickly they emptied my house, and somehow made all my furniture look like it weighed nothing. They jam-packed the truck like a Tetris game to fit it all (I had more than they thought possible in such a small house) and nothing was damaged in the move. They were even thoughtful when unloading, constantly trying to unload things in a way that wouldn't make it a pain for me to unpack. We were really impressed with their services, and their help was honestly the least painful part of the whole moving experience. I highly recommend booking them for your next move, I certainly will be. We had a soul crushing task ahead of us - emptying out a basement and transferring contents to another location.  We knew that to do ourselves, would have assuredly ended in injury and/or arguments.  Instead, we got in touch with Near North Movers and they came and did the job. I get ill thinking about how much had to be packed up, taped, physically moved and then packed safely and without damage.  Three gentlemen showed up and tackled the project over 2 days. They did so with the utmost professionalism and competence. Their work ethic was out of this world. We definitely received full value for their hourly rate as they didn't seem to ever stop. And they did all of this with smiles on their faces and were all exceedlingly friendly and polite. We don't want to have to do anything on this level again, but if we did, we would not hesitate using their services again. I had the opportunity to meet and schedule my move with Raz.  He was very helpful and offered to actually move my belongings on a Sunday.  The date I requested was already pre-booked. He actually arranged for some of the furniture to be loaded the previous night and to complete the loading the following morning.  This allowed me to be on the road to my destination earlier than scheduled. His men, Jaggi and Balwant were very polite and most accommodating during the whole process. They treated my furniture with respect and handled each piece with care. I was very pleased with Near North Movers and would highly recommend them for your move. I was very impressed and pleased! The three men were so nice and truly went above and beyond! I never felt like I was inconveniencing them, they seemed so eager to help!
